I have an itsy bitsy confession to make. Before this fall, I had never had a whoopie pie before. I know, it’s practically unbelievable especially since I love anything and everything with a cream cheese or buttercream frosting. Seriously though, don’t let me near cupcakes, cake, or frosted brownies. Say bye-bye sweets.
Right now, this very second, I am sitting watching the election coverage. No decision has been made on who has won. So instead of trying to anticipate who wins the 2012 election, I will continue to talk about my trials and tribulations with Hurricane Sandy.
Are you honestly surprised? Honestly? Wait, you actually are? Then you don’t know me at all. If you did, you’d know that when a recipe involves chocolate and peanut butter, I instantly break out two sticks of butter in preparation. I should just start leaving butter out to soften every day. I hate waiting for butter to soften. The actual worst. That’s why I loved this recipe. You can use any temperature butter, because it’s melted! Genius!
If you live in the north-east, you’re probably well aware of the current weather conditions we’re experiencing thanks to Hurricane Sandy. I’m writing this Sunday night for fear I may not have internet come Monday morning. So, I’m not sure exactly what the weather is like right now, but hopefully I’m not floating away.
