It’s been so long, too long! I’ve missed my little blog and all the cooking and baking that comes along with it.
Since we last saw each other I have, started and switched jobs, moved back home (not to my enjoyment), contemplated going back to school and then came to my senses, became an even stronger coffee addict and managed to lose my mind. So all in all not that eventful. I’ll try to catch you up to speed in the coming months.
I wanted to write this post Monday night, but unfortunately I’ve been studying for my first (and second-to-last) exam of the semester. Boy was that difficult. I only have one class that actually has real lectures and it is getting very hard to study for regular exams.
Anyway, back to the story that I wanted to tell you. On Monday afternoon, I found $100 on the ground.
I baked you a cake. But lets be honest, you’re not going to come over and help me eat it, so really I just baked myself a cake. A very large, two-tier cake, a cake so delicious that you can’t eat only one slice.
There’s a looming holiday that I think we need to discuss. I won’t give it away, but it occurs at the end of every October. So this holiday, which is normally enjoyed by most, is one I do not. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it as a kid. It was always fun dressing up and trick-or-treating around my neighborhood, but not anymore. Halloween starts to lose it’s fun once you enter high school.
